I just kinda thinking how AR could be screwed to the atomic level of races and classes.
I'll go with Werebeast bard just because it would be So funny for one to transform in the middle of story and scare the hell out the children listening in.
I know there are better ones that can be created so feel free

Treant Vampire!
Imagine getting pounced on by a blood sucking tree. Nearly as disturbing as a gnome vampire. |

Giant squid getting all mean, and flailing tentacles about wildly...

have you ever seen Rylek in action? Necromancer w/ 6 pets and all of the hits are blocked/parried/dodged. Now imagine a monk w/ 5 defenses, evade, first, second, dodge, and drunken, and 25 dex... PWNAGE! If the immies let that happen, it would be a royal SCREW UP! |

Halfling monk just reminds me of yoda. And him jumping around like a rabid monkey in that second film. |

Wouldnt say Deusrey rocked everyones world, but he did do well.
Dwarf pallies can be good, but are basically punching bags for a skilled warrior class.
Their low dex means they get hit a lot in melee, and makes them easy to bash, which equals a warrior with two axes bashing the hell out of them.
Their low mana means that a warrior can run around and drain their mana pretty easily, even with paladin trance, which will leave them with a choice towards the end of a fight between wrathing or curing. If you watch a dwarf pally fight, they often wrath less than other paladins because of this.
Water vuln--one of the better vulnerabilities to have, since one of the two rare water weapons is good-only, but a dirted dwarf getting bashed by a warrior with an axe and water cube dual-wielded can get ugly--offsets all those nice protection spells paladins get.
All in all, as an evil warrior, I looked forward to fighting the dwarves rather than the elves.
And to second Stephen, man would I love a duergar dark knight. |
