Isn't it AR's birthday soon, or towards the end of November?
Seeing as the player base is rising, maybe a brawl day might be in order. |

RECOMMENDED PLAYING TIME:
October 31, 2005: 9:30pm EST
This event will last approximately 2-3 hours.
It is the culmination of a plot event that has been building for a couple of months.
Anyone can participate in this event- even total newbies to the game.
If you have never played Threshold, this might be an event to check out and see what the game is all about.

I found this ad in topmudsites.com by Threshold RPG advertising an event for Halloween.. perhaps if AR would have a public event we could actually bring in new players. Not to mention older players that left for some reason or another.. |

Personally, I would like to see a few brawl 'hours' scheduled like the surges. I know a decent amount of ex-players still trawl these forums so it might entice them to play again. It would also give new players some much needed experience at 50. We can bill it as an open day' of sorts for new players. |

Basically, normal Ar gameplay is suspended for a short time. Instead you create your character, automatically advance to 50 and beat the snot out of other people. It fun in the short term but it does get dull after a few hours. |

I don't like Torkalen's idea simply because I would come back and play for the brawl, then I might play a little more instead of just trolling... bad idea. |

Your heavenly wrath ***DEMOLISHES*** The Freaking Crazy-Huge Monster
The Freaking Crazy-Huge Monster is DEAD!!!
- 843hp 711m 394mv inside night no opponent none - l
The Impossible-To-Get-To Room
The corpse of The Freaking Crazy-Huge Monster is here.
- 843hp 711m 394mv inside night no opponent none - l in corpse
A whole bunch of AWESOME crap is here.

It's kinda the point. You still won't be able to walk into Winter on your own or anything. It's only gonna be 50s(and 1s until they advance) on(normal gameplay is suspended). I don't know if he'll let you choose cabals (cabalme <blah>) as well, but that would be cool. Just to give a feel of what you could do if you went Legion or Knight or whatever. And it should only be for a short time, ...like two or so days so when people are like "What? Advance to 50 is over? It was so much fun.....so that's what it's like at 50 huh? Let's get workin people! [creates a char] And I'm going to be a <blah> when I meet req's!"
Like, when I got hooked to this game I saw one group. [KNIGHT], ...and I was hooked ever since. Didn't know what they did, but they looked cool so I was like "I wanna be one!" And made a few chars in attempt and failed a bunch till I made it. Ahh...good times. |

Brawl always gets fucked up by the Justices flagging everyone.. you can't compete with that. It is fun though until it turns trash |

I was thinking more along the lines of two hours at most, kinda like the surges. But yeah, cabals shouldnt be apart of brawl day - destroys the mystery for new players. |

No cabals.
Not two hours. There are people all around the world, here, to think about. Maybe two hours 4 times. That sounds good. |

Brawls are awesome. Real good way to bring people back and get current players even more addicted. |

Wait, how do the brawls work? You start out at rank 1 and level once and your fifty? I dont understand.
But the whole concept sounds really awesome! A whole two hours, or whatever, of pwnage at rank 50, sweetest thing ever! |

Maybe there could be, for a whole week a "surge" like brawl, alternating surge on different timings.. |

You create a character as normal but you get automatically advanced to 50 where you can run around killing people. Its fun for a hour or two. |
