When you edge something, does it matter what it is? Will different items produce different amounts of damage, or even magical effects?
btw, you might want to mention somewhere in the helpfile that edge craft is for making shurikens, not making weapons of any type. When I saw edge craft, I thought I could make my own weapons out of "treasures, trash, and keys". |

If you edgecraftsomething made of ice, it is shruikens made of ice, or out of wood, they're wood. Etcetra... This is not usedoften, but can be perfected and use with throw to create some nasty, nasty vuln damage. |

Damage is a fixed sum on shurikens whether you edge up a rare or not. The damage on them was pretty considerable last time i looked but don't expect to see lots of mega damage when using them, though i did work out i could do the equivilent of ' unspeakable things' using throw and three attacks in one round using vuln weapon, vuln based shurikens and a bit of luck.
On a side note, i think edgecraft should be introduced to rangers for making arrows to go with the ranger bow skill. It would make sense them being woodsmen living off the lands. |
