|

On the topic of some equipment balancing, making some items viable, I have a few suggestions.
My favorite one is a weight pass on several backpacks, to bring them in line with the wildly popular heavy backpack and big ol pack sack.
Pulled from the codex and discord:
handy haversack, 95% weight reduction, weighs 4 lbs, to heavy backpacks's 20 lbs and 10% reduction. Additionally the haversack does not answer to 'sack' but haver, which is a pain in the ass to type.
pulling from the codex- a belt pouch, 5 lbs, elven rucksack weighing 10, small leather pack, 9 lbs, girdle of many pouches, 5 lbs, though thats a hell of a weight capacity, lucky bag 4 lbs (iffy on this one), large travelers backpack, 7 lbs
It'd also be fun to see some of the lower average weapons get a slight buff to close to training weapons at least, to improve the variety of weapon options you might be able to scavenge. Dragon Tower, Wyern Tower, hell most storebought weapons below level 30 come to mind. I think all of timerans weapons are average damage 5, are they not? Sylvan Valley come to mind as potential areas to look at.
Training weapons still have their place, with a chance to improve skills on top of a decent damage output, but this would simply gives players different options to start out with. |

The Griffon arrows from the shopkeeper in Timaran with the Mer-Monster arrows are a claw attack, which is type slash. |

Ugh gear again. Big picture, I would like to generally make evil gear a bit stronger since we threw vulns on all their races and made paladins effective (no question that hunt evil is working amazing at this point). We talked about that somewhere in the wasteland, I was thinking "forbidden lore" for the Legion cabal so that they could benefit from the unholiness like an augment or something.. maybe a vessels/Legion thing. I am not sure how exactly I can make an object affect require evil, so there's no ETA on that.
I would also like to add more good align rares to that new anti-hoard technology we built for Sevokan. That's been great. Maybe sword of seasons could do it too, thought perhaps also spider-climbing slippers? No other thoughts than that though. I don't understand the backpacks post, isn't there a Loot Sack and loads of wearable sacks (major globe)? |

Backpack weight stuff is a fluff request Dav. I'd like to be able to choose to wear an elven backpack or maybe that small backpack for example, or a belt pouch and not gimp myself doing so cause of their weight. |

I was wrong about the Griffon Flight arrows btw. They're whirlwind pound damage. |

I’ve been using a big ol’ pack sack for 20 years and I’ll be damned if I swap it out for some fancy shmancy haver or hoover whatever with doilies, trinkets and weight reductions. |
