Nothing more frustrating than super low dex races that can only afford to have one or two gyvels in their inventory for those gyvels to fail and then instadie. I propose -some- kind of adjustment to make this less frustrating.

I think having low dex is kind of a pretty big negative to those races. It influences a LOT of mechanics.
I don't think you should be able to quaff things from the sack. But maybe you should be able to get them from the sack? Correct me if I'm wrong, but if they are in your sack you can't get them out, currently, right? Maybe change it so you can get gyvels and herbs out of the sack (not other things) while blind, and once out then they can be quaffed obviously. But it still requires inv space and two actions. This seems more reasonable than just straight quaffing from sack even without inv space. |

I agree, Ham, I edited that response to indicate being able to get them from the sack when blind for more clarity. |

I voted that you should be able to get them from you bag, but with this caveat that you have to be wearing it. |

Part of AR is dying because you did something really stupid, like having gyvels in sacks
What race/class combo do you find is being hurt kento? Is it one of those carry 50 weapons types |

Pretty much every class is a "carry 50 weapons" type class except casters with weapon ward, or shamans with OP shrunken heads. Oh and monk too I guess lol
But obviously this only really affects low dex races like treant/giant because everyone else has the inv space to grab a bunch of gyvels out of your sack.
And like I think if you are fighting someone who's gonna blind you and you don't preemptively grab a ton of gyvels out of your sack then yeah I guess that is on you, and races who can't carry a ton of gyvels even when you are prepared suffer.
What kinda sucks tho, imo, is when the necro in your group blinds you out of nowhere and you're fucked because you didn't have gyvels in your inv because you didn't know you were gonna need them. Just a recent example that seems apropos |

I didn't have a problem with this on Balan, but only because I planned well what to have and what not to have. You can carry 4 rates in your inventory, if.l your dex is full you can carry more things. I made a point of always gambling for my slots that doubled as saves so I didn't find myself stuck with no inventory space. |

I don't think the flask is appropriately marking it, like gyvels you see while blinded, but do you see a flask with gyvel potion in it? |

What are flasks?
The helpfile says "to be continued" so I have no idea what that mechanic is. |

Flasks may perfectly solve this problem. Will experiment and report back. |

I voted you should not be able to get them from sack when blind. The sack conceals the potion and you cannot see the sack unless you make a container that allows you to see herbs/gyvels/and/or purples inside said container. |

does what I said even make sense? I confused myself lol. like.. I guess it depends on how realistic you wanna get with it. Right now if they're in the sack you cannot see the sack blinded, but if a container was created that allowed a person to see it even while blinded, then you would be able to see the gyvels/herbs inside or anything that you're allowed to see while blinded
the mystic sack comes to mind, but that is kinda exclusive. idk just an idea. |

If you're able to grab gyvel potions and/or dark black herbs while blind, it would be consistent to let rangers herb while blind as well to cure it (currently, rangers cannot herb while blind). |

As your lips start to swell, you realize there's no gyvel here, only poison ivy. |
