Races
Avian:
- Dark-knight legacy: Somatic Shock
- Avian dark-knights are able to use their natural affinity for lightning to even the odds when fighting a higher level opponent.
- The avian dark-knight's lightning bolt spell is capable of causing a Somatic Shock to these opponents, causing them to make more mistakes in battle.
- Somatic Shock causes anxiety similar to, but less effective than, the shaman's hysteria spell.
Classes
Druid:
- Fixed a scenario where enchanting the staff with full earth empowerment could crash the game.
- Improved the way consecrated earth decays.
Skills/Spells
Hysteria:
- Hysteria has undergone a complete rework behind the scenes.
- This change will allow us to use the hysteria affect in new ways and vary its power, such as for the new dark-knight legacy.
- The change was implemented in a way that will not alter the shaman hysteria spell in any way.
Shield, Barrier, and Mana Shield Spells:
- Shield, barrier, and mana shield spells absorb damage without factoring the player's armor class (this is unchanged).
- To eliminate confusion, players will now see this represented by a symbol in their score rather than seeing their armor class become 0.
Focus Abilities:
- Open, close, lock, and unlock actions now interrupt focus abilities just like movement does.
Equipment
Character Weight Calculation:
- Floaters and shrouds no longer count against weight carried once deployed.
- Carrying these items in your inventory or a sack will affect your weight normally
High Towers' Enchantment Table:
- The cost of enchanting weapons at the Enchanting Table in the High Towers has been reduced from 200 relics to 100 relics.
- Shards and clovers are no longer required for the enchantment.
Seringale Forge:
- The Seringale weaponsmith and armorsmith have decided to make some extra coin by hiring a forgemaster.
- The forgemaster will improve metal weapons and armor (similar to enchantment weapon/armor) in exchange for Warlord medals.
- Weapons have a chance to fade or be destroyed in the forge just like enchantments.
- Weapons and armor that cannot be enchanted cannot be improved at the forge.
- Additionally, bows cannot be improved at the forge.
Set Items:
- Imbued items can now be engraved for sets (an item imbued prior to this patch won't work for engrave).
- Set items can no longer be imbued.
The comprehensive item weight audit is underway. The following have been completed( * indicates the slot audit is brand new in this patch):
- polearm
- staff
- bow
- whip
- dagger
- flail*
- light*
- finger
- neck*
- earring*
- wrist
- shroud*
- floater*
Codex:
- An issue causing inconsistent results when searching for armors by type/class has been fixed.
Misc.
PK Rating:
- Added the ability for imms to verify the current PK KING/QUEEN.
- Exempted vampires from PK KING/QUEEN status.
- The Top Killers on the website/forum will now only show PK'ers above the "default" PK score.
- Fixed an issue with the display of Top Killers on the website players page.
Minotaur Corpses:
- Butchering a minotaur's corpse can now sometimes yield slabs of beef.
- There's a small chance the random body part severed when killing a minotaur will be a hind flank, aka slab of beef.
Player Lairs:
- Players prone to losing things are in luck. Yarbok now sells spare keys at his Seringale shop.
- Keep track of your keys. Anyone who finds one of your keys can access your lair! |
