I'm looking for something new. Any Cf player here that can tell about this mud in common terms? |

I don't think I ever played CF long enough to speak on Abandoned Realms with any reference to it. CF lacked 'soul' to me. If you cut that prerequisite, I'll be happy to answer any specific questions you might have, if I can. |

are you looking for ex-CF players who can tell you about AR? AR was founded by ex-CF players. I haven't played CF since I was like 13 and it's not really appropriate to discuss other MUDs here. |

I agree. I just didn't want him/her to feel ignored. Sorry about that, Nycticora. |

I don't want to discuss CF either but sure it would be more easy to get into new mud based on the simulare knowledge. But its ok. No, means no. |

I also played CF and then came here, found it easy to get the hang of things. PK will get your blood pumping. Jump in man you will see. |

It will s policy not to talk about other games, but I don't think this guy is out of line with his post. I mean he's just asking what to expect from AR based off his previous experience.
Beront, welcome to the abandoned realms. I can't speak exactly to your history, but I think you will find a lot of things you recognize. The command language (the prehistoric 'get rock', 'kill tiger') w I'll function and I think you'll find that some of our updates are a welcome change. Be sure to try to use the where command on mobs and to check out our quest system.
Hope you have a great time here. Don't be shy about asking questions on our in-game newbie chat either. |

Welcome Beront!
If you've played CF, you'll be familiar with the basics. Feel free to use NEWBIE chat and PRAY when you're online for some help from Immortals and senior characters if you need help.
If you go exploring, you'll start noticing the AR lore is on point. Like, the current builder Imms can write their own harry potter series with the stuff they create. Enjoy yourself, have some fun, you'll like what you see here. |

Thank you for answers.
Davairus: Heh, thanks. I've noticed the same classes here and some new, can you lighten that thing up? |

Check out the class page on the main website! It has a overview of each class and all their skills, you can even click on the skills and read the help files! |
