|
|
We've rewritten HELP LAWFUL and cleaned up the helpfiles for the laws,
so that useful information is more easily found. We made some significant
changes to the Justice cabal, including removing the bounty system with a
new upgradeable wanted level (consider that before you go decapping the
city guards on a rampage), a redesigned outlaw flag to accompany and
apply to max level criminal status.
With the new wanted level, a WANTED flag is initially fairly light, and not
too much trouble. Continuing to attack players, killing players, and kill
city guards will cause its escalation. Justice discretion is allowed on
sentence, but the wanted level determines the minimal sentencing. For
instance, time spent digging in the jail after bungled steals (instead of
being murdered mercilessly).

I think Chaotic players should be able to pay off flags, if they have low enough stars. The idea that the Law gives a crap about your ideals is kind of silly. It also doesn't mesh with the idea that you can pay fines, but you can't pay off a flag, which is essentially the same thing. |

Can knights remove wanted level by going back to valour and getting a different colored stallion? |

Here are the trade offs for wild weapons before the change -
Orderly weapons
Fines in place for wielding wild weapons
Random damage output for wild attacks (ie no consistency, I personally live off consistency in fights.)
Now -
All of the above
+ You can't pay off flags.
I guess my question is - what problem is being fixed precisely? Is it just that having three cities, guards in those three cities + a few random mob cities, a level 50 mob to track people down, inability to buy in most shops that aren't darkhaven/valour, an ability to lock someone in an area (not always a payoff, but a huge perk), an ability to flag at will (an ability only given to warlords and Justices), unlimited potential to fill the cabal coffers, specialized weapons that can be created, a protected place to squat, the ability to flag someone if the item even if their item is gone, the ability to just get someone fined over and over with a constable if you are lawful and the risk of an outlaw tag if you get into cabal warfare with them, isn't enough?
That's just off the top of my head, I'm fairly certain there are other perks to being a Justice or simply being lawful. Deputies?
Chaotic people have - the ability to attack in town while still maintaining good rp and wild weapons. Cool. |

Le sigh - why can't I delete the previous post? Because I got a good answer somewhere else. |

Chaotics haven't been able to pay off wanted flags since wild weapons were first added to the game. All players, including chaotics (at a steeper price), will now be permitted to pay off the flag as long as their wanted notoriety hasn't reached level three (WANTED: ***). This will take effect next release. |

seen this post didn't know this had happened, came across this
Note that foul language is NOT policed. However, fake yelling of attacks or
thievery will result in a flag. Bullshit will not be tolerated.
in 26.5
in help fines
2. Fake yells - Justices are able to distinguish between real and fake yells. Do
not try to confuse a Justice into flagging someone with a yell. This will incur
up to the maximum fine of 20000 coins.
Is this a flag or a fine? |

tayyah, it's whatever the justice wants to interpret it as unless he answers the imm who asked questions about the decision with whining, then he gets slayed and/or denied and/or uninducted
you're supposed to have exceptional RP as a cabal member so if you do crazy shit and don't back it up with good in-game reasons you might get a boot to the head |

I'd also argue that the in-game helpfiles should always be considered the authority. |

okii pokii. I was just curious because of the conflict there, in my opinion its kind of a dated law anyways, since the yells (wildly) was added no one trys to pull the fake yell anymore, not like the old days when it was a constant question right? kind of like emote gives you 100000000 coins. since color was added nullifies that issue. Thanks for answering. Personally, if I ever make another justice, and someone tried to pull the fake yell, I would just wanted lol, because of the fact that they are stupid for trying to fake something that cant be faked anymore |
