Just wanted to mention there's been a feature freeze so you guys can see the game is very stable.

Its exposed a couple of problems, nothing too serious. I am probably going to end it next week and start cracked skull tourney. |

It means we're doing nothing but eliminating stability affecting issues and non-code balance issues like equipment balancing for awhile.
We'll probably schedule feature freezes regularly / periodically so the game is always in a stable state. Quarterly boundaries (skipping q4 because christmas) maybe. |

yep this showed that some progs were crashing the game and not the actual game code
and it also showed that there wasnt a way to avoid it with code changes |

yeah beia, someday we're going to make it so that items you drop will stick around and not disappear. You'll be able to hoard treasure. This is a stepping stone to that.

Well the cracked skull tournament is taking a backseat to my job and stuff going on with the Justice cabal, as well as I hate coding database interactive functions which further slows it down. So apologies for that to anybody who has been waiting.
Basically its going to be a reuseable tournament format, with the title of "skull buster" for whoever wins it. It will add a new page to the website to display winners. The offiical tournament host is so far unrevealed, but you guys will learn more soon.
We will eventually have to discuss to figure out a good size bracket + tournament frequency. I would like it to be quarterly at the very least. I dont know about how big of a size. 4 players wouldnt really be much of a tournament but we have to get it done somehow |
