I had an idea for guys being anathema.
Say if you take out the Arishel the captain of the guard, then the valorian forces are too disorganized to attack you within valour.
Obviously it wouldn't be a permanent solution to being anathema and being in valour since the mobs spawn back anyhow so maybe if you were chilling in valour, you'd be in for a surprise when Arishel gets back from the hospital. |

If you were fighting something like Xavier in Darkhaven, and he forced some thieves to his side to help him, sure they'd book it because the big boss died. It was help Xavier kill, or die first. But townguards? They'd fight to the death. Its a question of will, and the Valour guards most definitely want to be there til the end. The only thing you would possibly see fleeing Valour are the nobles..
Along similar lines, we've been throwing around the idea of "area" possession for cabals for years, and nobodys really came up with anything good. I would love to be able to have neutral areas that cabals can occupy/defend by massacring/protecting the townguards or some such thing. Especially if they had lucrative reasons for doing so, like nice gambling mobs, supplies, etc. Hopefully we'll think of something someday that isn't lame. |

naw The idea wasn't about them fighting to the death type dealy, it was more along the lines of without the upper leadership around in valour, hence the captain they're too disorganized to even know who's anathema, ect to attack. |

Eh, you're confusing Valour's townguards with Lothgar-led Legion era. |

I am just throwing this out there but what if Timaran had like a mob or something for legion to kill to gain control of the town and if they have control they attack knights on sight and a new mob would pop up, something evil and the knights would have to kill him to gain control back. while the town is under knight they attack anathema's and legions on sight. just an idea. |

Lolioz That was fucking awesome..... But what about when it was legion controlled? An extra bonus? Or they attack knights, nobles, contracts, and squires? (sounds like alot, but it's really not.....) |
