As one life entered the world, another was extinguished. The man was not
ready to replace his wife with a son, but he had little choice in the
matter. They had always lived a quiet and reclusive lifestyle, far from
others, but as the boy grew that had to change. Magic was in his blood,
fire at his fingertips and lightning in his eyes. After the boy had
unintentionally set fire to the cabin for the third time, the man packed up
a sack and the two ventured down the old path from which their ancestors had
come many years ago. The man was a creature of the forest, and there he had
to stay. He was not a man of books and stone and bread, but one of gristle
and hide and trees. His illiteracy was not a badge of shame, as it is for
many in the city, instead it was not a concern, not part of his world. He
wrote down his son's name as best he knew, left him in the care of the first
who would take him, and retraced his steps alone. It was purely a
coincidence that the man passed away peacefully on the same day Xaq
registered with the invoker's guild in Timaran.
Description:
The first thing you notice about this man is his smell. An odd combination of dirt, sweat, and ozone, it assaults your nostrils relentlessly. Most of his exposed skin is defaced by smudges of dirt, and his hair - black or brown naturally, it is impossible to tell - bears the signs of equal disregard. His dirty mane extends below his shoulders, and slightly tapered ears poke through the mess, an indicator of his heritage. His lips are curled into a seemingly perpetual grimace, exacerbating an ugly scar across his chin.
I couldn't see myself playing Xaq ever again, so it was time. My playtime is about to drop off when I move back to America, that's definitely one of the reasons. Keeper was an interesting experience, and was tons of fun when we were at war. Crisbin is one tricky bastard, a great keepermaster, and it was fun playing with him.
Invokers are really fun these days, but they're definitely not as strong as some people think. There are strategies that most classes can use which will give invokers a very hard time, but I haven't seen many people using them yet.
I should've thought up a better RP than ecoterrorist
Fighting you with Kushtok really felt like a fight against Pip, the amount of damage received and how fast you were with spells was pretty damn amazing. Even though we only fought once or twice probably one of the hardest most lopsided fights I have ever had with a werebeast ranger. You clearly knew what you were doing.
