Title: the Bloody Matron Gender: Female Level: 50 Class: humannecromancer
Background history:
Description:
A thin, pale figure makes its way before you. The parts of her body that are visible are covered in strange, foreign markings. After getting past the initial view of the strange artwork upon her body, you notice more of the obvious things. Frail hands extending from the cuffs of her robes twitch slightly as if they are about to grasp a hold of something. Her eyes seems to be on the verge of blinking, tuy stop half way and open back up. Gray, white, and black hair seems to flow about, barely touching her shoulders. But, at further review, the hair seems practically alive. Several clusters of strands curl and move about slowly, subtlety, and aimlessly.
Gonna be a little bit of a shame to come around and not feel this presence any longer. HOE for sure and one of the most respected and brilliant pker's i have ever seen.
AR won't be the same without Uvet. She was everything amazing. It was never personal getting rocked by you, we even had quite a bit of RP right after. I don't think a lot of people know that Uvet gave Myri her send off. We had a ceremony and everything. Brilliant PKer and the perfect necromancer. Uvet was synonymous with death. She will most definitely be missed.
ive attempted necros a few times at 50 and the time and effort to raise a zombie is just insane, let alone 3 zombies. That fact impresses me, as far as pk is concerned Uvet was very much a force, knew what zombies to raise and did so very efficiently. Once Uvet had the zombies very little could be done. I was looking forward to fighting you more, but I had my chances with my previous characters you destroyed.
Holy hell. To be honest uvet never spoke with me on the characters we fought on. Had a couple of stupid fights and some really good ones. Never managed to get you thought so many close calls. This character right here is a reason to hate word of recall. HOE, totally.
I remember really wanting to fight Uvet on one of my characters but I had to bitch out cuz I knew I wouldn't have the time. But otherwise she had owned all my other characters since coming back and she was actually pretty cool to talk with. Since coming back, this is the only HoE worthy character in my opinion.
Best fights were with you. I'm not posting much anymore on the Forums, but I will absolutely post in favor of a HOE.
I do remember killing you on my halfling warrior executor - you died recalling into the wall. I was so angry I didn't get that kill, but only because it was you. Anyone else, I would have let it lie. Lol. Great times.
I don't even know where to begin... I absolutely loved playing Uvet. I always hoped Resatimm would show up and join in on the RP I had going.. I enjoyed just about a the interactions I had with all the players along the way. I know people would get pissed off with me taking their soul all the time..but everybody, for the most part, kept it all in game. I'm sure part of that was due to the fact I didn't loot the shit out of everybody. Just 1 or 2 thing..if any at all. Soled iggilwiv, demonnicon, and that entire area...every last creature. Was working on underworld but ran out of time. I want all HP... the most HP I had at one point was 1206, with wiggle room for another 40-60 HP with a couple more upgrades. My best suite overall was 1150 hp,1000+mana, and AC all across the board around 400, magic AC close to 300.
Faelon, dying to a recall face smack sucked...but I'm glad you didn't the kill
Tons of great fights.. finishing off Lorne when aura and protective shield fell was one of favorites.. granted he did beat me in the official duel we had.
I'm sure more things will come to mind that I might want to post...
Counting penalties, (and most of.those was people unghosting and coming back to re-engage)161 kills, 4 pk deaths is definitely my best ratio to date..
Had a blast. Thanks for the HOE votes.
Yeah Ewils03, the ceremonial sending off of Myri great.. we should have saved that log and posted it...and the ring I held onto and youe final death, just for you... good times.
Posting from my phone....so excuse some of the spellcheck stuff
Very impressive record. Obviously fearsome pk skills and solid RP. Top of the killer list for ages. Great job!
Yea I was so mad at that fight, you lost aura and shield, I rage and miss a bodyslam and I lose like ~450 hp in two rounds from the zombies because of rage. Super fail. I don't know why that duel we had was to the stun, but that was a nail biter too.
Just one small critique, you would have been more badass if you're actually caballed. I've always had a bit more respect for the pkers that are in a cabal as that can put them in a disadvantage from defending and can still prevail from that.
HP is definitely the way to go as a necro. It's really nice being able to sit three-four rounds in combat and be like "meh, maybe I'll vamp touch something now."
Haha, yeah I remember when I had Hamund all decked out and I tried to abuse crane stance's buffet against Uvet and Xrkzix. Fun times. Wish life hadn't gotten in the way, cause I would have liked to go a few more rounds with ya, Xenyar. 100% HOE. Wonderful character man.
oh yeah I remember those pesky buffets, Grant. Im pretty sure you were the only monk that used that on me. Despite never dying to a monk, I always hated fighting them because no matter what I did, especislly with summon, it seemed like it was always "they resist your spell" or whatever... so it left me with rend life mainly.
That's the 25 svs from phoenix style. Also probably the same reason why you never saw monks use wing buffet on you- they were afraid to leave phoenix style
Xenyar, I want to follow up on something you mentioned earlier and call it out as commendable.
"I didn't loot the shit out of everybody."
When you were in the position that you were in, having the most feared and deadly character in the game for many months, you could have been a dick and just full looted everyone you killed. Instead you chose not to and that allowed us to pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off, and get back into the FUN of the game right away. Its not like you had to fear us coming back at you in short order and killing you and thus didn't have any reason to full loot. The reason I want to call this out is because I'm speaking from personal experience, having died many times to you on many different characters, that you kept the game fun for me even when I died over and over to you. This is commendable. This is the true mark of someone who loves this game and the community and knows that full looting for no reason other than to be a dick is super detrimental to the game because of the low playerbase. Thank you for killing me, raping my soul, and leaving my gear so I could keep having fun.
Yeah I remember that...there was once or twice the looting was more heavy handed...I had perfectly good in-char reasons for it. But it's not like I sat there and sac'd everything and left you naked.. Took the tenor because I needed to recoup some coins on the auction, and I wanted to disperse your set so you couldn't have it and use it against me. You put up some good fights... that char of yours just lost once to me because of bad luck timing.
One time when I was playing Amiendre, I saw you log on and I scooted off to winter to hang by the innkeeper. I had brought food and water enough for a long wait, planning to hide in the shadows and assault you when you came to make a zombie. You were in Winter, but I think you must have gone for the thief first or something, or I wasn't hiding nearly as well as I thought, but you kept popping in and out of the area. It kept my adrenaline up for so long, it made my stomach hurt.
I think that's the closest I've ever come to killing you, on any of the characters I fought you on.
You should have snuck down to the thief... I'd often sit on the other side of the thief and look the door... wait on zombie timer , and practice spells on bumpkins in the mean time..You could have used vanish to get to the other side and probably caught me completely off guard or sleeping...possible assassinate opportunity. I wonder if you can actually vanish in from there. If you can I guess you could vanish into the mobs down below though, too. I always wanted to fight you you more than what we did.. think I only got you once or twice... Blind dust against necros is huge if you can land it on some of those charmies.
Damnit xenyar lmao! Why do you always make the ones that i hate the most but end up respecting the most lol, couldn't stand fighting this one but it was inevitable but great work and thank you for understanding and not killing me as i helped young ones. Deserve to be in the halls that is for sure
