Beginning

Phostan was born into a dark era so far past that many names have become obscured, and others remembered only as dread rumor and myth. His people were of Tenebria, and while he embraced the culture of his people, a life of mining was not for him, and he set out to do the work of the Light as a priest of Aberdour.

Knighthood

In a time where few openly opposed the forces of Legion, he stepped forth to wage battle against the forces of darkness and was squired by the Executor Yilhet under the approval of the god Aberdour. Already few in number, tragedy soon struck the Knights of Valour, as Yilhet fell under the combined weight of Legion and its many allies. Phostan stepped forth to act as a stalwart example to others, and with the ready aid of his closest friend and advisor Kalist, he began to rebuild their numbers for the forthcoming holy war they would unleash upon their foes. His work and perseverance did not go unrecognized, and he was bestowed the title of Executor, same as his mentor Yilhet once claimed. With their ranks somewhat replenished and along with his zealotry, martial skill, and the holy powers bestowed upon him as a priest of Aberdour did their crusade against darkness launch in full earnest, and the tide began to turn as the Knights of Valour cleansed Serin of many of its greatest threats.

Death and Rebirth

It came to pass that Phostan fell in battle one final time after many years of crusading, and was no more. Though as he lay dying his spirit soared with hope, knowing that he was leaving Serin with far more light and righteousness than what had been when he entered it as a babe. And so did Phostan go to rest amongst the halls of his people, his soul burning bright, ever ready to be called forth to serve once more, until one fateful day he awoke at the foot of the Anvil of Souls, in a body empowered with the capabilities of the gods he once served.
