Nobody knows how he appeared on the doorstep of the Castle Kendamar in
Oltensia. He wasn't an infant when they took him in, but he had a severe
case of memory loss and couldn't recall how he arrived. Regardless of his
heritage, King Veridon decided to bring him into his fold until he could
recall his past and make his way home. Since Kyde was such a natural when
it came to learning things, he was put to work in the armory so he could
learn about all the different tools of war. Eventually, once his knowledge
of the different weapons and armors was sufficient, he began his combat
training with the kingdom's arms master. After years of improvement, he
managed to graduate from his sparring courses and he become a soldier in the
service of Oltensia. Quickly capitalizing on Kyde's incredible stealthiness
and knowledge of warfare, he was promoted to ranking scout and answered only
to the King and Queen. Tragically, shortly after his promotion, the King
and Queen, along with their son, were slaughtered in the royal court by a
dark sorcerer known only for his affilliation with the Dark Army. And so,
he set out to begin his investigation and bring Justice to the party
responsible for their assassination.
Description:
The first thing you notice about him, is that he is incredibly filthy. Grease stains cover his olive-hued skin and lithe frame. The second, he emanates a horrific stench that is nearly palpable. His hair stands straight up, and, you might've been able to tell that it is a brilliant platinum if it wasn't for all the clumps of dirt and debris stuck in it. Soot is smeared on his forehead, jaw and nose, all around his head and round-framed goggles that are snugly cinched around his head and elongated, pointed ears with swarthy, leather straps.
He has donned a leather tunic that appears similarly well-used and hosts a series of steel rings with doe-skin pouches of varying size attached, some of the pouches even have irregular bulges. Crusted bloodstains appear intermittently about his person, only adding to the overpowering odor that clings to him. A symbol about the size of a fist is carved into the flesh of his left bicep, the markings appear Elvish in nature.
