It began with a tomb. The coffin was looked beyond the subterranean cavern, carefully set into the cool, dark stone. The young duergar, eager to loot and pillage, lifted the lid with his short, strong arms. The body inside was vile and rotten, bearing no resemblance to the humanoid flesh and bone that once walked the world of the living. The curse took hold of the youth instantly. It consumed his soul without fail. The youth turned and walked away, his head lowered. He did not know what had happened. He knew only one thing. He was doomed.

It took him three years later. He had just slain three orcs in a brutal fight. As he searched their bodies for coin, a stalactite dislodged from the cavern's ceiling, piercing his brain and killing him instantly. His infant son, wrapped in cloth nearby, did not make a sound. On the child's twentieth birthday, he was stabbed in the back by his business partner after the two struck it rich stealing a shipment of Valourian arms.

Four generations later, a new duergar awaits a painful and untimely end...
The decorated halls of the Justice have been graced by many individuals.
Some have been power hungry individuals who were completely insane and used
the powers granted to them by the Immortals to their advantage while others
truly were interested in keeping the citizens of Thera safe within the walls
of civilization. Fynth, the great, great, grandson of a grave robber, and
son and grandson of individuals who met their own ends due to unfortunate
circumstances, spent his life dedicated to Justice and overcoming a horrible
speech impediment. While in the end, it was neither a criminal or tongue
twister that took his life it was just as tragic, and perhaps even poetic
that the curse that he feared his entire life was in fact what killed him in
the end.
Fynth will be survived, by his brand new daughter, and unfortunately her
name too will be Fynth. She will be raised by the Seringalian Monks and
left to decide her own future. If destiny deems it that she die shortly
after giving birth, then I hope she is able to hold her child as did
Fynth before he was so cruelly snuffed out of this world by the very
spear that Vyshna had just given him. The irony of the Trident
being the weapon that pierced the heart of great duergar is almost
to much as though it was written in the stars a millennia ago...
Or perhaps it was no accident at all that a weapon of the ocean
was given to Fynth who feared nothing more than water. I doubt a
serious investigation into this matter will be done as none of the
other three fellow Justices seemed to even lament the passing with
the most touching words from them being "He was still so young..."
In the end, whether it truly was a curse, and unfortunate accident,
or a conspiracy that even my own dear Vikka might have played a part
in Fynth is no more.
I bore witness to all of these things and swear them to be as true
as the straightest arrow.

I guess 13-24 months ago when fynth was active, I did not interact with him enough to see what a couple of you see to say he is exalted worthy. That could have been due to my lack of activity at the time I suppose. What I do remember is his speech issue, lack of logging on, and telling me to go pay my fine instead of just coming to the cabal and fight. Then he'd log off. Perhaps time restraints were the reasons.. i dont know, nor do I care.
Wish I could have interacted with him more. Good run, nonetheless.
So bases on what I do remember... I can not vote him as exalted.
Nice pk record... granted, I've seen much better k/d ratio not make it into the halls.
Good luck with your next char. Perhaps if I had the chance to interact with you when you were active, I might give you the thumbs up for exalted.
I'm curious about the circumstances of his death - specifically, the fact that he's in guild issue. Usually he was running around in ubergear. Who whacked him?
I've interacted with him across multiple characters, over the years he's been around. His rp was extraordinary. His K/D is extraordinary. I smell sour grapes.
I agree - if you are going to down vote or up vote someone, give a reason at least. Instead of a "no fucking way".
Good run. Bad ass character. Well done indeed.
Exalted, easily.

Also, Fynth was cool, we both got into justice about the same time, he catapulted to leader deservedly so. Well done, Fynth.
