Title: the Grand Hierophant of the Forest Gender: Male Level: 50 Class: duergardruid
Background history:
Description:
A hefty sized duergar stands over you with rather blank scrutiny on his
face. His gaze is to size you up for battle, because this druid looks as if
he has no fear in this world. Clad in dull steel armor, his mass is
consumed by rippling muscles and palpitating veins. His skin is stained the
color of black coal with many scars all over his body from what looks like
combat. Some of the wounds are so deep that most normal combatants could
not have sustained such injuries. The pupil of his eyes burn like the sun
and his gaze pierces into the soul, penetrating as sharply as a newly forged
mace. A stocky neck leads into a frame that could easily overwhelm most of
his kind, but he is somehow able to carry himself with a force and power
unseen from any before. The overall stature of this duergar radiates the
sense that confidences as he struts away from you.
Solid character, but seeing that description... At least two or things ought to be changed. Druids don't use metallic items, so being clad in dull steel armor doesn't make sense (and you're not supposed to describe equipment/clothing other than minor personal effects in a description anyway). I've been told to delete sentences of a similar nature to the final sentence in Cinnon's description because it contains an action taking place.
