I think it's time to give some props to a little Coterie I've grown quite fond of, the Heralds. When I returned to the game after about 3 years off, I had no big plans for my new characters. I made a neutral first, like always. Though not a halfling thief like Clausten or Wili. I went a diff route. I wanted to be low radar. But I got pestered by Rimera. It wasn't incessant, but she stayed adamant. And I was happy I went for it. Heralds are a fantastic place to be socially involved with the game. I had no idea. I no longer wanted to be an unknown. I wanted to share my weird thoughts, goofy stories and interact with others. On have a few alts and it's funny to hear what's being said about me. Makes me smile. So, yeah, here's props to the Heralds. Keep it Yar! |

I agree the Heralds have been awesome. Rimera, once noble turned High Herald, Ona, once Leader of mystic turned Herald,(herald of knights at that) Kewlin, funny in a dramatic sort of way, Aaroll another helpful sort. Then you have Prost, once aggressive Shaman, now pencil pushing helpful herald. New mystiques coming out all the time, its a blast chattin with them. |

Eh, I'm gonna be honest, the Heralds was fun, but it wasn't how it was back when I first joined. I dunno, the new way to do stuff is nice, but I miss piecing the Mystique together page by page. And if you made a mistake it took you forever to fix it. An annoyance, yes, but it was more realistic. Granted now it is far easier to do stuff, I still kinda missed the old way. And about Rimera and Ona, while they are good at their job. It would be nice for them to be, more active. Like perhaps stay out of their inns and not be exclusively with each other all the time. One of the things when I made my 2nd Herald was that Vevier told me she severely dislikes it when her Heralds sit in their Inns/Taverns. So, I normally sat in North Square or somewhere else unless I was busy doing something, I was in my guildhall. Odd I know, but still, at least I had a line of defense when I was writing and could log out if need be. But anywho, so far, they are doing pretty good. At least they are getting more "events" out than back when I was in it as Andrael. |

You miss the old way? You can still make books like that if you want to, but this way is much nicer, since there's a much smaller chance of losing anyone's work because it took too long and it was lost on the Notes list and no one bothered to copy/paste it into a word file. Also, you don't need to redo the whole book because someone made a small typo. NEW SYSTEM IS AWESOME.
But yeah, Heralds are pretty good. <3 |

idk what the new system is but the old system was awful. this is a game, if you volunteer your free time to compose a book or a newsletter, it shouldn't be frustrating and feel like work. |
