To eliminate the problem of characters applying to multiple cabals, a
separate note type has been added for applications. This note will preserve
until it has been removed, so you will also not end up re-applying for your
chosen cabal. You can use the note to apply for immortality as well, if you
wish, as well as anything else that might be applied for. It will not
matter if you send the wrong kind of note, but by using the application
format of note, you can be sure that your application will immediately stand
out to the cabal, and will be easily found should they wish to look through
them.
Example of usage:
application to knight / apply to knight
application edit
type whatever needs to be typed
end with a @
application show (to check it)
application post
Most present applications have already been transferred to their new home.
But if you have applied to a cabal in the past few days it probably didn't
get moved. Any problems with the note type should be reported to the
implementors (note to imp) as nobody else will be able to fix things for you.

If you had an imm app that got deleted, resend it to the new apply location rather than the notes. |

Actually you also need to
apply subject <subject>
though it would make sense if applications automatically had subjects named Application. |
