Unfortunately this month stats (and Knight deaths, for that matter) are literally *dominated* by things like this:
Quote: |
Enyeldar - killed by Laurrick at The Quire of the Cathedral of Valour (Sun Feb 25 09:02:24 2007
Enyeldar - killed by Iverfin at A Dungeon Chamber (Sun Feb 25 09:44:43 2007
Enyeldar - killed by Graugon at Near the Banks of a River (Sun Feb 25 10:20:27 2007
Enyeldar - killed by Jabe at The Former Royal Stables (Sun Feb 25 10:41:52 2007 |
and this:
Quote: |
Aritigni - killed by Iverfin at A Worn Path into the Mountain (Sun Feb 25 09:06:39 2007
Aritigni - killed by Jabe at City Hall (Sun Feb 25 09:28:29 2007
Aritigni - killed by Graugon at Bridge over the Bay of Sarich (Sun Feb 25 09:47:44 2007
Aritigni - killed by Iverfin at Tribute Street (Sun Feb 25 10:07:00 2007
Aritigni - killed by Graugon at The Former Royal Stables (Sun Feb 25 10:42:10 2007 |
Note the timings.
Gank squads were frequently getting multikills credited without penalties, because somebody else in the team got the previous last hit. I'm thinking a combination of fixing this and a suitable Knight cabal skill should remedy the issue. |

Speaking fo such, is avatar of vengeance still about? Not revealing info, there are even logs about it that show exactly what happens, so no need to delete the post.... |

Its been retired for now.
Avatar didn't have the effect I was hoping for, although it did floor the people it should have occasionally. See previous post for why it flopped... basically people already just avoid multikilling by taking it in turns to gank the naked guy with uber eq anyway. |

Ganking the Knights?
- Even so, Grekku/Lothgar's records are quite impressive, if you ask me.
*sigh* poor Knights. They would be getting the "punching bag" award if we were playing Super Smash Bro's (w00t!). Really, those records suck (and I'm not helping). I'm surprised at Justice's as well.

I'm still considering exactly how to approach the problem. The simple way is just, if you're killed, any more kills on you in the next 30 mins just wouldn't get counted. Hostility removing that. Covers everything needed, no room for abuse as its just an extension of ghost period.. If we want to actually try to penalise (which for caballed guys is only a +1 anyway, same result), then it'd have to track who's healed/summoned/attacked the player etc, the only advantage of doing that is it further protects the uncaballed, as mk'ing those results in whopping penalty, and I guess a few hyenas would still be able to sit out and wait their turn. |
