Sooooo it appears that Word can no longer be cast in combat. That seems like a big enough change that it might warrant a change note and an update to the help file, which currently says something about wording away during combat will lag you, not that you will not be able to concentrate enough.
My two cents. |

Uhh... somebody complained that you can cast it while resting using spell shortcuts, so I changed the position priorities to try to fix that. Guess I'll fix this now. |

It is probly because I am a firm believer in chaos, but I believe you should add that effect of dying after a teleport to the word of recall. You know that some poor soul has been torn asunder or somthing like that, but also when that person wakes in his temple he should see raining pieces of his flesh and items so he knows that all is lost from his corpse.

I must be speaking in riddles again. There was a change, and this change brought bad news for thoes who die after teleporting. If you die in like 2 hours after teleporting all your items are lost. I think you should add this very funny and twisted effect to people who die after using word of recall, but make sure thoes people know that it happened. As of right now when you lose all your items, everyone else sees some poor soul has been torn asunder, but that poor person has no clue. You should add somthing saying you see your items and bits of flesh raining from the heavens, so people know there is no point in going to find thier corpse. I hope this clears up what I meant. If your still don't get it, please disregaurd, and it will probly come to you later.

Grayden, I take it you've never died after teleporting?
You writhe in agony as your body explodes into a million pieces!
Or something like that. It's cool, you should try it sometime. One day I'm making a mage just to play with teleport. |

I must have missed it on my balistic run to find my empty corpse. I have died very few times after teleport. One time I thought it would be funny to drink the green potion. I still can not laugh about it.

One of my first characters (Sebryn) used to sell those to newbies, telling them they had all sorts of wonderful powers...

Jesus....Sebryn was one of your first characters?? Wow. That just put my "AR career" into perspective. And I was probably one of those newbies....Curse you Sebryn.
And back to the issue at hand. I have just one thing to say. NO, please NO. |

Word of recall already has drawbacks - mainly that your opponent will know exactly where you are, and you now have 1/2 moves. There was a problem with long-distance recalling (e.g. from darkhaven to valour) but that's now been remedied. So I don't think we'll be needing to blow people up just because five people stood in their temple spamming murder. |
