Halflings and Exotics

I was under the impression that Halflings were created with exotic weapons master.

The help file on exotic weapons says 'Halflings in particular, with their love of unusual and occasionally magical objects, are drawn to and delight in using exotic weapons, and as a result they have a natural mastery in all exotic weapons, regardess of their level.'

But when my halfling wears an exotic is does not say that it feels like a part of me.....You get the golden claw from a ranger's knapsack.

Did ya'll change this, is something wrong, or am I just mistaken?

If anything, they should remove it. Pking at level 15 would be cake. Get a water cube and you have it mastered, everyone else has it at 33% Hrmph.

Halfling warriors have exotics as their favoured weapon. That's what that means. You have to be level 32 or 33 or whatever for it to be at a 100%

the help halfling help file seems to have misleading info.

only thing in my knowledge that a halfling gets mastered is a halfling thief's 100 steal.

The halfling help file does not metion anything about exotic weapons. The exotic weapons help file is the one that I mentioned above and I copied and pasted exactly what is says.

I know that it is their favoured weapon, but I also thought that it came mastered.
