Dropping this here based on comments in a recent GY thread, for consideration in an upcoming patch.
Players can edit their own description any time, even after it has been approved. Editing an approved description will tee it up for re-review by an Imm and re-approving.
Let's make the same functionality work for Backgrounds. Currently once a background is approved the player cannot change it. An Imm (and maybe senior Consortium members?) need to formally reject the entry so the player can edit and re-submit. Let's remove the step of needing someone other than the player to reject it. |

Given that this functionality is already in place with mob lore, I think that this idea makes sense. (e.g. if somebody finds issues or the original author wants to change things, it's possible to unapprove entries) |

Yes! This is an awesome idea. It would be excellent if players could edit their own background entry and resubmit it. |

+1 from me. I'm confident I re read my own backgrounds more than anybody else reads them. Might as well fix em up |

You can make multiple backgrounds doesn't make much sense to me to be able to edit it, how can you go back and change history you just add to it as you age. |

Backgrounds and descriptions should have a set of standards and expectations by the Imms. Then ALL Imms should approve equally. Not one Imm making you try to re edit your description for a missing period and another Imm just hitting approve. |
