If you don't think your talented enough player/character (yes both will have an affect) then there is always the alternative of making quick friends with a storm giant zerker and gang raping that guy until he stops. Worked once on Nyemes back when he was 35, got a shit load of rares from it. Only problem is what happens when Nyemes catches you without your zerker friend and decides he wants to make a withdrawl from his portable bank... Anywho good luck kid |

laptops are gay
i only use a laptop, though, too. it's gay.
I tried the insert, del, home, end thing just 'cos they were in the top right corner of my laptop in a cross shape, but all my keys are so small I found it too hard to hit the right one when I needed to in a fight.. so I'd go weird places.
I'm getting better at typing more quickly. w enter w enter w enter, pounding that shit.
also, I have "ww" "ss" etc set to an alias on my client, since AR reserves those for that gay "you run too fast and stumble" message. So, "ww" inserts "west" "murder @target", so you can guess was ss/nn/ee does
makes flee/murder easier on laptop I think, flee-ww-ww-etc |

Yep, I use a laptop too. Rickety old bastard that barely runs RoA.
Generally, I've found it easier to button mash w ENTER e ENTER etc. Numpad sucks on a laptop, I really wouldn't bother.
A couple of the numbers easily accessible to the right hand (8,9,0) are aliased to 'wield spear' or 'wear shield' etc.
ss / sn / etc. = scan east, scan north.
Considered buying one of those USB numpad peripherals you can get, for speedwalking, but they are inordinately expensive. |
