Access to certain help files.

I've been reading up on the history of the realms, looking through the timeline and the player histories in game, however, I have run up against a problem.

There are various references to old, now defunct, cabals in the histories, however the helpfiles do not seem to be accessible. The helpfiles for both the Mystics and the Assassins cabal say that 'there is a level requirement' to read them.

I believe knowing a little more about these old organisations would help my roleplay, or at least increase my understanding of the game world. Would anybody be able to tell me for sure what level I have to be to read them? I was told it might be level 35, but having reached that rank, I still have no access.

If not, would anyone be able to provide a brief background? I'm just curious as to who they were and why they were removed.

Not sure about those rank requirements, but if you want a brief history on those cabals go to the home site or AR. www.abandonedrealms.com Pretty sure there is still info about em there unless the update wiped it off.

it shows timeline and if you do word searches for "mystic" and "assassin" it will show you some things that "happened" to them.

but the reason they were both taken out (not ic) was because mystic had no real definable purpose and ooc ruined the concept of super secretive assassins.
